996 oil leek

Hi everyone,I'm new here.My name is Paddy and i live in Ireland.Its a great
site you have here.
Now the thing is i went to have a look at a ducati 996 today and the guy hadn't
started it for a while so when he did there was an oil leek.It looked to be
coming from the hose that goes from the oil cooler to the engine.It was coming
from the engine end.The thing is i am not sure if it could be dripping onto the
hose from somewhere else.I cant find a picture to see what else is there.
Does anyone know if it could be something else.

it's probably a standard feature on a ducati.

I am hoping it is just an o ring but just checking incase it could be a big problem.

Hahaha you got me there.I should keep the shopping list and the fix the bike
