Looks to me everything turned out ok. Good on ya. However, it could just as easily gone the other way. Maybe if you'd offered him a ride he might have changed his outlook on life. Frisk him for a knife first, though.

    more troubles

This is veering from Plug's thread a bit, but tonight I had a bit more trouble with my little brother, to be more exact my little brothers friends. It started with my brother having a (so called)friend over who had a mate with him as well, my younger brother then got an ex-mate to come round and drop off a pack of ciggys that he'd left in his car at an earlier date. My brothers mates decided to 'jump' my brothers ex-mate(David) for everything he had(head unit, cellphone, wallet, some clothes, etc etc), they took some of the stuff that belonged to the other people in davids car, they did this while my brother was somewhere else on the property(so he says) and then they all ran off(my brother included). Then I get a phone call from David while my brother was still out, saying that if my brother didnt give back his stuff he'd kill him. When my brother arrived home he read me some of the txts in which David and his various 'boys' had sent him threatening him and my home and family. A while later while we were sitting in the lounge discussing the days event we heard a noise on the roof, so I proceeded to get the steel bar(yes i am paranoid when it comes to security) from my bedroom and patrol the house with my brother. I told my mother to stay in the kitchen and I went upstairs to my sisters room to grab her(she was fast asleep) and put her in the kitchen and make sure all the door and windows were locked. When my family was safely in the kitchen(I chose it as it is a central place) It seemed to be all clear for several minutes so my sister went back to bed, it was a couple of minutes after she had gone to bed when the sound of movement on the roof began, at that stage I had worked out where about on the roof it was coming from, it seemed to be coming from outside my sisters bedroom. me and my brother then went upstairs to her room to find her sitting there crying and shaking unable to move because of the sound coming from outside her window. I pulled her out of her room and made my brother take her to the kitchen, I opened the curtain and told the little shit(wearing a hoodie and cut off denim shorts) that was trying to hide, to get the f*ck of the property and that the police had been called(ironically it was my younger brother who called them). It was at that stage he got up and attempted to scuttle off, I followed the sounds of his movement until I heard him run off up the driveway. My brother spent the next 20mins on the phone to the police while a car was on its way.
About 30mins after my brother had initially called the police, an officer turned up saying that they'd caught the person whom had been on our roof and asked if we wanted him arrested, my mother being the kind soul that she is said no(I would have said yes) , but told the police officer to tell him to keep off of the property. I will be on high alert over the next couple of days as, one of the threats that my brother recieved involved our house being trashed or 'done over', this is not good as i have my bike parked downstairs and I really dont want to come home to find it on its side with slashed tyres or even worse to come home to find it not there. Ive just started a new job so I cant stay at home all day to ensure its security. I seriously doubt I will see much sleep tonight if any, to make sure that nothing happens to my family and home.

    You could

If you are lucky to catch the punk, you could give him a good future in the country. Kick him in the balls and give him a couple of acres

Yep, I'd beat the snot out of him, and then find his slimey mates and do them next. But first I'd be breaking my brothers jaw with your steel bar. Then when he gets out of hospital break it again. Then tell him that's merely a scratch compared to what he'll get next time he endangers the family like that.

/edit: Seriously though, should've kidnapped that little prick on the roof for a few months. And quote fixed.

i have NEVER been able to allow it go unchallenged - i have always had a really bad reaction to bullies

it has got me into some serious trouble - and badly beaten on one occasion - but to NOT stand up against it would be to lose my self-respect

no action exists in a vacuum
to allow bullying to go unchallenged is to CONDONE and ASSIST it [and end up as guilty as the perpetrator]

You challenged a 12 year old, well done.. if they were big, black and ugly, would you have done the same?

I got home from work today to find both my parents having what appeared to be an in depth conversation with my younger brother, my mum and dad whom are divorced were both giving my brother the riot act, if I had my way my brother would be sent overseas to a boarding school or something along those lines to isolate him from his fuck up mates and sort him out. I agree that my brother needs a fucking hiding to sort him out, and at one stage I was prepared to give it to him but things were resolved before it happened(also my mum said shed have me arrested if I gave him a hiding). I dont know what has been done about last nights situation at the moment but I will find out and post another reply. If the shit does hit the fan I am prepared to defend my family(I am the man of the house, as my olds are divorced).
