My attitude off site is admirable, generally people like me. Maybe a difference exists between the upper and lower North Island WIMA.

    You talkin bout me?
If so, I'll have you know I get my licence back this Sunday. Might even ride up to Manfeild to cheer some of the racers on!

And I freely admit I'm a stalker. Been bloody hard of late though. No licence and a gammy ankle means I've not been able to catch any.

Sorry to the gay gals on site but I think you would agree some truth exists in my statement.
OMG it might be the forum for me then

    Wink

I've been reading this post with a lot of interest...thoese of you who know and love me will know I'm a fami-nazi from waaaaay back.

Girl only rides? Too right!! If I wanna talk about bad cramps, thrush, hair, nails, and how I love the colour of our bike or my new jacket then I feel far more comfortable doing that with my gal pals and possibly my male friends would be grateful if I left them out of those topics of conversation!

I believe Lissa always said guys were welcome and her reference to you boys having to wear lipstick was what I call 'tongue'n'cheek' - which she has since edited.

Chill out lads and let's all ride safe and have fun. Hopefully I'll be able to come along.
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

Cramps - leathers too tight behind the knees or rear sets too high... can be bad.
Thrush - blardy things - I hit one once on the bike - they are a lot more solid than they look..
Hair - What little I have left gets mussed up by me helmut so i carries a cap and sorry - I'm done shavin my back
Nails - I got a flat tyre once too
Colour - I painted it and chose the colour so we could talk about that but you got bored last time. We could discuss the compressor I used or why I went old school laquer etc but I'm not sure thats what you meant?
New jacket? Nope - you got me there - mines only halfway stinky.

So apart from the jacket thing - looks like I should go on the girls ride..

Nope was totally serious.... Ceebie's even picked out a nice shade of lipstick I believe, just have to make sure the colour doesnt clash with his bike.

Hmm interestingly I went on the recent girls ride to lake Ferry (the one that started with the ladies of kapiti... thread) and I only recall the gals talking about bikes, bike gear and....well... bikes! Perhaps I have selective hearing - "is that related to bikes? don't thinks so, block it out, la la la..."

When you say "militant lesbian" do you mean "chick that doesn't want to sleep with me"?...

How did you know, Mel? It's called "Garnet Starmist" Here's a pic Bex took of me on our recent Holidays!!! Will this shade be OK on the girly run?? My bike is black so I don't think it will clash.

EDIT: It seems some folk are worried that I'm really wearing lippy. It's Photoshopped. It's Bex's chops blended onto my ugly mug. Seems I did too good a job eh? Or could this be a new KBer ... ceebex13 ?
