Who has a 2006 bike Road Code lying around?

hey guys, i have a request
When i had a 2006 motorbikes road code here i saw an ad in it for a deal at a bike shop. It was a helmet, gloves, & jacket for $300.
however i have since sold the road code, & I cant find a copy of the 2006 edition in the shops, and unfortunately, ive forgotten which bike shop does the deal !

if anyone has a copy, could they pls pls pls have a quick look, & see which bike shop has this deal, or if anyone knows a shop in the auckland area that does a similar deal, let me know?
    thanks in advance
    matty

oh PS if ive put this in the 'wrong place' sorry !

Drop Quasievil a PM with regards to the jacket and gloves - he'll be able to sort you out some quality gear at a good price. Support the locals

As for a helmet... How much is your head worth? Priceless? Have a think about getting yourself a good lid. Cheers.

well thats the thing, it was good quality, from a reputable shop.
I dont have the money to spend $1000 on a helmet, but i want a brand new one
which is why i want to find the shop

A good lid doesn't have to cost $1000 - that's a farkin expensive one. You can get pretty decent helmets for under $300, they'll just be a bit heavier and maybe a bit louder (wind noise more annoying etc) than some more expensive ones. Having said that, I bought a reasonably cheap HJC lid when I went shopping, but it's decent enough. I was really humming and harring and the guy ended up knocking $50 off it to get me to buy it!

Quasievil's gear is second to none, and his prices are great, so if you're after anything, he's always worth a check. I don't think he sells helmets though.

I think my copy of the Road Code was a 2006 edition, but that's no use as it's in NZ and I'm not.

I bought one of said $299 start-up kits with my GN. It ain't really top quality kit, but is a good starter as advertised. The gloves are great for summer, wouldn't like my chances with them in an off tho, no reinforcing, so went and bought upgrades. I've had heaps of shit from mates about the helmet (THH) but it's got a safety sticker on so that's OK with me. Jacket is the best of the lot, but again, I've seen better (but also pricier). Of course, they could vary the bundle setup based on what stock they have on hand, so maybe it's a lucky dip?

I don't feel ripped off or anything, the kit is all good and entirely fairly represented. Just not top shelf stuff, s'all.
    Redefining slow since 2006...
