    Life's little trials...

So, I need to go pay for some work on one of the cars, and nip out to meet my wife (who's collecting said beastie).

First challenge: some knob on a Kawasaki 1500 has parked his saddlebagged knobmobile across the row of bikes at the Mercer St park at a 45 degree angle, completely locking several in and making it quite the trick to get mine out without knocking his bike over.

Then, on the way back, I get stuck at the lights behind a plonker in his 70s Ford Fairmont. Apparently novel concepts like "noticing a change to green" are new to him. As we trundle along, he then fails to slow down in a posted 30 roadworks area, until he stops in the middle of the road, signalling a left turn that he never actually makes. Broken brake lights, too.

Fucking accident waiting to happen, not paying any attention to anything going on around him.
Look, it's an itsy bitsy Bandit.

He was probably waiting for the haze to clear.

Fairmont? Fairlane? I was too busy trying to focus hard and use my powers of ESP to divine where he was headed next to read the writing on the car.

That and keeping back. Waaaay back.
