    ZZR plug leads

Hay guys I just pulled my leads but when I priced up a new set they told me (bikesport) that they were $298 and said that you had to buy ignition coils with the leads??? I cant see why as the leads will undo from the coils. So my thoughts were that I would make up some leads like I have for cars in the past. Then whan I looked the leads were steel not carbon will this make a difference??
If this is a problem where will Ifind steel HT lead?
    Cheers for the help guys

Changed the HT leads on my ZXR because of them becoming stiff & brittle

Used HPC High Temp Silicone spiral core lead material, cost a fraction of the price of OEM leads & offer better conductivity as well. Only thing being that it's 8mm diameter compared to the Standard motorcycle HT lead which is 7mm so fitting into the coils can be a bit tricky.
