Hey, kids! Captain Hero here with Getting Laid Tip 213 - The Backrub Buddy!
Find a chick who’s just been dumped and comfort her by massaging her shoulders, and soon, she’ll be massaging your prostate.
Shot in the Hole by Holeshot!!! Well that's you fucked for repairs in Auckland every shop owner in Auckland now knows what you look like and ride, thanks to your last post "Indy's new Bike" Better change the colour scheme of your bike and shave that catepillar off your top lip!!!!
Smart real Smart!!!!

Do you think that by having a grumple here that bike shops actually will take it out on you - I dont - a bit egosentric.
From my experience the bike shops who read my first posting have had a bloody good laugh with me - and tried to bend over backwards to show me that they can provide good service with them, and I wont get that kind of crap happening at their shop.
people are just people - we dont have class and demegods to bow too.
so .. on to more important matters (I'm getting bored with this line of discussion)
have you got the bike fixed / traded / burned at the stake / other fate ???
keep up with the thread man - currently striped down in Huntly, waiting parts ex Japan.
I was wanting to trade it + $5K - so now I'm lookin at waiting a month to get it on the road again for a cost of $1k - then trade it +$4k
I was hoping to get a GS1200ss, but now I'll just wait and see wht I can afford.
A good ol 'burn at the stake' sounds like fun though.

I simply read your initial post and using my limited mechanacial knowledge came up with the diagnosis. If they have been dishonest as you state, you should be taking it up with them, if you have the backbone and ability not to loose your rag. I'm only nice when I'm being paid to, otherwise I'm a bastard, what type is entirely up to you. I've only rebuilt a few bikes, but still have much to learn. Either way I hope your bike is sorted, Jap imports can be a hassle, I've had one and was lucky that it was a good bike...
