    Heard a rumour Joni that he may have a broken collarbone-- Bummer, as he is back off the USA very very soon

    Just spoke with him, he has broken his collarbone, he clipped a hay bale with his brake leaver and went down. And he is leaving for the USA tomorrow- Joy O Joy

    Thats very sad to hear... Im fond of little Dom!
    Not sure how much of an impact this will have... how long was he going to be over for? How long is typical healing of a colarbone? Ah well.... bugger...

    what was he riding i saw 4 riders go down yesterday infront of me end of main straight, poor ******s. all started happening after they put that ****** sand down.

    Is NZ the only country where they DON'T sweep the sand after they put it on oil spills???

    Surely they did not put sand down,the normal substance is cement dust,so absorbs oil & should be swept as well,especially at turn one like that.
    By the way,what caused the oil leak,was it a classic or a sidecar????

    Cement was applied and swept, as is the usual practice. Funny how someone who wasnt even at the event could guess what laid down copious quantities of oil on a number of occassions, and it was both classics and Sidecars!!!!!

    Sorry yep meant cement.

    well they didnt sweep it away at all cus the pace car was going over it and chucking up dust everywhere and bikes were spinning up and flicking it out like a offroader.
