According to the docket from the workshop, it was one of the following:
-unbalanced carbs,
- dodgy mixture screws
- the spark plugs I had them replace
Dunno exactly what it was. THey just gave it the once over and made it go. I didnt hang around to long to ask- I was alll about getting it out to the road
asap

Suppose moral of the story is - pay someone who knows EXACTLY what they are doing to fix it and it only takes them 2 hours !!

Hmmm... i woulda asked B4 i paid....

certain bikeshop here wanted me to pay for a new battery b4 they gave me my bike after they fitted a S/H battery, there eftpos didnt work so i had to walk to the bank (in my bike gear) and waited 6 days for them to ring me to say new battery arrived...they didnt ring, i went in.... been there for 4 days.... cheers!
fruk them!... hinemoa st "yamaha dealer"

edit.
was most unimpressed coz the guy on his BMW got sent a bill and i was left standing around for an hour before he even fitted the s/h battery...

Only went there coz it is up the road and the auto elec couldnt help
