    Talking Riding Miss Daisy

Daisy is so much fun to hoon around on! Donor texts me this evening with :

"You know, im going to tuck Daisy back into bed and charge rent shortly"
sez I in reply "You still up?"
    "Yup" sez he

So somehow, he turns up (still in his horrid fluoro orange shirt ) and we pootles off ta his place. He gives me the learn on the basics of fiddling with Daisy's private bits (i.e. center stand) and removes his no.8 wire L-plate.

Naff, he goes and tosses a nut and washer onto the ground. In the dark. Plonker! He goes in, gets out a LED bling torch and discovers...that he is holding the nut in his hand :slap:

Anyway, we banter witty repartee back and forth (read : "Bollocks to you mate" "Double bull bollocks back to you matey mate!" ) and I decide to go off on an impromptu hoon on Daisy.

    To the Hamiltron.

Yep, just back to my usual tricks (now that I have a bike that has the headlights working! ) - I rattle me dags down the state highway and work through the joys of hooning on a little two-stroker smoker called Daisy!

Just got back from the excursion and feeling that warm glow of biker satisfaction.

Kewl moment : running out of main and having to stop by the side of the road near Hampton Downs to work out reserve (it has a pull tab ring like a hand grenade! Bonus!) Cars fanging past with cagers thinking "Har har! Stoopid motorbiker!"

Cue : In a few minutes of two-stroker hooniness, I overtake all and sundry to their chagrin and merrily leave them in a haze of smoke! Goodness!

Well time for me to hit the sack and dream of Daisy, my little ol'Hornet and...the next bike to join my stable/harem

    Excelsior Carpe Diem!

Good stuff mate. Have never met someone quite as high on the joys of simply being on two wheels as you are. Good effort! And your posts, strange as they often are, always put a smile on my face with your positive and sunny attitude.

    Cheers.
Soapbox house of cards and glass, so don't go tossing your stones around.
You musta been.... high. You musta been...

I do recall our observation/conversation yesterday with Zerocen ..

"He's riding Rosy faster than he ever did Daisy huh?"
"He was going faster and faster and hooning into those corners y'reckon?"

Donor's face was just a contented and smug self-satisfaction that he is riding a "real bike" now I only happenstance pointed out that he was only doing that well 'cause he got the learn on Daisy.

I puzzle over all his previous howls and yowls over Daisy I was often presented with the spectacle of Donor and Rosy widening the gap between Zerocen and I

Fair pootlling along on Rosy he was! Anyhows, Daisy has been taken to school today to give students the learn as well

Dirty, noisy and yobbish... a metaphor for Daisy and my classes
