    GN250 Questions

    Hi there,

have a new GN and have a question about the motor and warm up. No matter how long i warm it Up for it always surges once I'm on the road for up to a minute. The bike only has 150 km on it, so i was thinking it just needs to he run in a bit. Any thoughts?

Also does anyone have a Shop manual for the Gn 250 as a file i could download?

Is it brand new? I have a brand new one which came with a manual.... which I cant find at the minute.

You might want to warm it up for a bit... I leave mine running about 5 minutes now as I have exactly the same problem as you. I let the choke out a little at first, put it back in, then let it warm... that should do the trick.

Lissa - Would that be the little 'Owners Manual' that comes with every bike.....
Or is that the workshop manual...... which covers every little bit of the bike....?
Like working on the engine etc etc.

The 'Owners manual' only covers a few things.

I have a workshop manual on CD, Jpeg format, took me AGES to scan. Free to a good home. Anyone else want one too, I'll burn you a copy, send it out in an envelope. Knowledge wants to be free.
