Kia Ora (shiny new biker here)

Hi folks. Just got my first bike yesterday, a 1995 Honda Xelvis (25V). Possibly from somebody on these forums . They suggested this is the place to come when you're new, so... here I am

She's a nice bike, from what I can tell. The battery managed to conk out yesterday just after the old owner had left, which was oarsum timing . But I got a charger today and charged it up, it only took an hour for some reason, and it worked fine again. So now I've just gotta get confident riding it . Hopefully I can get some tips off you guys if I have any problems.

Welcome to KB! Plenty of good advice scattered loosely among the bollocks posts around here.
