Now today a colleague told me this, I laughed at the Irony of History:

You are totally correct, Tiger is indeed a MAN, and he is one in the eye for Uncle Sam and the Red Necks, with history in mind, there is certainly some IRONY in the fact that he is the best golfer in the world, but hey that could be a subjective statement, BUT in todays so called modern world, there are a few towns in the USA where he could not go freely with out the local Red Neck Sherriff taking him to jail for being BLACK.

A black man being the best golfer in the world isn't a subjective statement - he's ranked the world number one by quite some margin, so whether someone subjectively believes he is or he isn't really is irrelevant - objectively, he's the number one golfer in the world. No murkiness about that one! I'll agree it's a poke in the eye for Redneck USA, but I don't feel that it's particularly ironic. Whether he's black or white he's a very driven man.

With the best rapper in the world it's more to do with opinion since it's not clearcut in music whether or not they're the best, because someone can be doing a similar sort of thing just with different themes to their music - it appeals to different types of people, different tastes and all that. With number 1 sportsmen taste has nothing to do with it.

BTW was joking with regards to the racist comment. Oh, and anyone here who doesn't like green men because they're green is in for the bash!

You guys should know that Redneck USA doesn't give a shit about golf. The only sport more boring than golf is cricket.

We'd rather watch football (gridiron to you people) and a vast majority of the best players in that sport are black. Do we care? Not a whole hell of alot so long as our favorite team is winning.
Or better yet Nascar or the local Demolition derby and funny car races.

You plaid shorts wearing tea sippers can keep your golf.
