Husqvarna engine

Right! I have had this fabulous idea involving a twosmoker 250 frame and a husqvarna single, but anyway. I need to hunt me down a husqvarna TE610 or SM610 engine... Theres a couple on ebay but im weary about shipping costs and the like. Does anyone somewhere in New Zealand where i can locate either of these engines? Preferably without the rest of the bike attatched....

As long as you do your homework and the seller wants to crate an engine up Ebay can still be a viable option.
Over the last few years i have bought quite a few 1960's Husqvarna MX engine and chassis parts out of the US plus some 80's Enduro parts.
I get most via airmail but did get a 1970 MH400 bottom end sent via Sea,cost US$65 to ship 35lbs,here in 5 weeks.
A complete engine might be under US$200 to ship surface.
You never know your luck locally with the newer engines etc maybe a wanted ad in as many places possible and the word might get to someone.
Vintage parts are fairly scarce on the ground here so no real choice.
