basically... guy hit buy now on trademe and seemed really keen.

Had to wait till he got back into the country so agreed to that.

got in sunday and was really keen yesterday.

Hasn't seen the bike but after a chat with a mechanic (and I don't even think he was a bike mechanic) he backed out...

Just want to let it lie, just hate getting dicked around.

How would this compare to a ZX7R? I'm currently looking at a RSV but thinking this is half the price...and I just want a bike again!!!!

How did the damage (on right hand side) happen?

dunno how they compare gremlin never let me ride his.... but he never kept up either.....

As for the damage... well.....*cough cough*... cold tyres and a little to much brakes at a light (no I wasn't trying to stoppie for the millionth time) and the front tucked at about 10km/h. Didn't help I was right in front of my mate, he just laughed at me and still gives me shit about it.

Hate to ask...but was that the rider, or bike?

Sounds good, I'll have a think about it some more as I really want an RSV...but also don't want to be spending a small fortune each week on the loan!!

Also, whats up with the gearing? do you still have the original?

gearing is back to basically stock (just 1 down at the front I think)
I had it geared up something chronic like a 52 on the rear but is back to a 46.

probably the rider hahaha this bike won't have the brakes of the 7r but will be a hell of a lot lighter in the corners....

RSV's are mint and this ain't no rsv. But in the twisties it's much of a muchness. (plus it'll come with race fairings for them track day urges)

oh and it'll be $5500 for kb/sb peps if ya hit the buy now.

if you want something with more guts, I'll have the 750 up for sale shortly for a few more bucks.
