Yeah. I'm pleased to say that it's still fun after all these years and that we would rather be in each other's company rather than 'go out with the boys/girls'.
We've almost become like one organism instead of two and of course we've been thinking or saying the same thing at the same time for years. What is new over the past year though is me going to check my cell phone to see if there is a TXT from Mrs Oakie ... and a TXT arrives from her just as I pick it up. That is freaky!

I suppose you COULD say that - but there WAS a long gap in the middle where we went different ways.

    ALT EDIT ...
Married 30 years now! Can't believe it's been 5 years since I started this thread. Had a nice meal out and have a bottle of Deutz to open as soon as I get my arse off this PC. Happy days!

Fabulous...now go and get your arse off the computer and see to your lovely wife!

    Congratulations to you both, BTW!

37 years this July 4th -I picked Independance day cos it's easy to remember, and they throw a great big party for us (pity we're not invited)
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Once you hit 30 years, you're to old to start again anyway, you may as well resign yourself to life together...

Congratulations! And if personal experience is anything to go by it can only get better too! 35 for us this Oct.
