If "aye" was pronounced "ay" instead of "eye" your ear may have a case to make. But it isn't. Jim2 is right. If you disagree, look eh up on www.dictionary.com.

Used to think Metallica were great. But I was about 16/17 years old. Then I grew up.

Yea my brother LOVED kiss... played it all the time that and ABBA...always thought he was a little strange.

I have no problem admitting I like Metallica... "enter the sandman" would be my fav!! And I'm older than Limbimtimmywimmy... not quite sure what that means.

I'm with you Mel, I love Metallica, even if they are getting long in the tooth, I'd still pay to go see them, my fav is Fade to Black, but have so many close runners up, and no I don't live in the Hutt and drive a Holden, but I do drink Jack.
And eh eh ehhhhh is all I have to say to the sideline conversation, I prefer aye.

You can prefer anything you like, including reinforcing a preference for being demonstrably wrong.

So its just natural I like them? I am longish in the tooth, use to live in the Hutt, drive a holden and I like Jack too!!!! It all makes perfect sense now.

Have you shown her the music video of "One"? Do that and then ask her if she still likes him
