Cheers mate, I was looking for this on the useless AMCC website.

Apparently that Paul Pav fella is pretty hot shit, and both he and Vince are good teachers.

Will try to make it there.

Pav's day job is CEO of Motorcycling New Zealand and both he and Vince were National and International racers of note through the early 80's and into the 90's.

Neither have lost anything and have got the skills to share.

For the record Vince has been around Puke in 1.03 on a 1982 Bol D'or Honda...on Treaded tyres at the VK meeting in 2005. He was also a Matich Racing rider in the 80's in Aussie (one if the big teams at the time )and did a lot of Pirelli tyre testing, so has huge race miles under his belt.

I've been racing for many years, have a national title and club championships to my name and I'm not too proud to listen to them both intently!

Plus, what else better could you do on a public holiday Monday.....! (okay, trousers back on guys!)

I was going to go but don't think my bike (or body) will be up to it by Monday. Will swing by for a looksee and chat though. I went last year and it was good.

I only rec'd the form on Tuesday otherwise it would have been up sooner. I agree the website is mostly old stuff (and hence useless) that needs changing but I'm slowly going thru it as and when I have some spare time.

Which bits do you hate the most and I'll see what I can do?

    Cheers, Greg

(the form and the Advert are on the website now in pdf format)

Bugger, I just called Vince too and it looks like Puke were double booked and we've been displaced by the drifters.

    Sorry folks

    Hi GP.

My reason for calling it useless was simply, as you mentioned, that it's mostly old stuff.

I wanted to find out when the next rounds of AMCC were, so click on the appropriate month under 'road racing dates', but am presented with a 2006 calendar. Not too good for club race entry numbers, spectators, paying the bills, etc. I'm extremely grateful to these organisations for putting on such events, but if they're to recoup their costs, gotta get these things right.

I find the layout sweet. Very simple and functional, just gotta have the right info behind the facade.

Not trying to dig at you with this, I know you're doing it for free in your spare time.

Is there still going to be a rider training day before the 3rd round of the AMCC? 28th & 29th April? I think I read that in the newsletter?

    Thanks
