    WSB - Max Biaggi

Ok I must admit I've always been a bit ambivalent about Mr Biaggi. A good rider, but seemed to be a prize w&*$er at times.

But I must say I've been mighty impressed with his efforts on the GSXR so far. I've always thought that Troy Corser was the smoothest rider I've seen in the WSB but Biaggi seems in another class again.

I know that it's just the start of the season, but not a bad effort for someone who hasn't raced for a season, on a new bike, in a new series.

    What do you chaps think?

Yeah i never like Biaggi much, but he looks so smooth, and just cruising like rest are going for.

I think once he comes to grips with the pirellis, and the bike more. Be interesting espically since its on a bike 40hp down on what he normal use to racing. but amazing the gaps he can make up in such a short time

I've never much cared for him either. However, I just watched "Faster" on the weekend, and it had some interesting stuff to say about him. Apparently, his mother walked out when he was just a little kid, and they reckon this has shaped his psyche - for both good and bad. Also, he's reckoned to be a product of all the media hype and PR built around him over the years.

Unlike most of the current racers, he didn't start racing till about a month after he got his first bike - at 18. He really took to it and was world 250 champ less than 3 years later.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Yep, prize homo from I've seen of him but you cant take his racing from him. Did you see his front tyre at the end of the 1st race in sbk round 2? More tears than a catholic choir boys sphincter!

It'll definately be interesting to watch how he progresses. It looked like phillip island got the better of him tbh, in comparison to the previous weeks efforts.

I'm not keen on him getting better either, as Toseland is my pick in virtual manager.

I think the way James rode the second race in order to preserve his tyres, and the focus he showed on the grid means he will be very hard to beat this year.

Also the amount of speed the Honda had......not bad for a fag's bike huh.

    Well you said it.

Despite not having the most 'public friendly' persona you can't take away from him that he knows how to ride a bike. Bit of a tosser, from what we see of him, but a fucking fast, smooth racer. It's got to be good for the sport.

Definately. His addition to the line up has been proven a good one, with a rip snorting pace at Losail followed by watching him get biffed around at PI before joining the 5 way slog for the line. PR aside, anyone with his skills commands respect (I still think hes a twat tho, but the gixxer doesnt aid his case....tick tick tick)

Exactly, shit most of the knockers couldn't get 70% out of what they are riding anyway, except maybe in a straightline.

Biaggi seems to have lost abit of his Wank Wank Toss small man factor that he had at GP level.
He appears alot more relaxed, probably easier without the pressure of Rossi all the time.
It's not that I'm wrong- It's your too dumb to understand!!!
