If you guys want to greatly increase the number of rallies up there, the key to it is probably remote country pubs eg Whangamomona. A lot of the rallies in the Sth have some connection to a pub - for some reason they must think bikers are good for business, can't think why - pick some pubs in good locations and get the publicans to talk to some of their Sth Island counterparts.

My experience up here is first stop at pub with atmosphere why leave. You wouldn't believe how much some of them can get down each stop for a card. And they still get to the site at the end. Unbelievable. and they get faster than me as the day goes on
