    As far as goons go...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

I still remember the moment I realised I was bi(moto)cyclic. Thanks to this forum I know that I'm not alone. Is a freak in a herd of freaks still a freak?

You stole my old line, That was always my excuse when I was uncertain about owning a mans bike.

It's not a case of the slower you ride the safer you are.
A bad rider can still ride real bad slowly.

Riding good lines helps to make you a good rider and can give deceiving appearances that you're actually hooning when you're just riding relaxed/cruising.

Most the accidents I've seen are 250's or smaller.

    What about on a dyno?

Tony Sampson will tell you all about it, These numbers speak for themselves I'm afraid, them Gixxers are fast. Interestingly, I believe Tony's bike has a few "extra's" but a bog-standard 06 R1 was only a few k off his flying 1/4 top speed last September, shop demo bikes are fast too!

Hmmmm - I didn't think this thread started out mentioning the merits or otherwise of the 2 bikes merely that the RSVR is becoming common....too common to be exclusive any more....a bit like girls from Essex...great fun but all your mates have had one too.

This is quite fuckin funny, bottonm line is, the road versions of both bikes, are sooooooo fuckin different, that they are incomparible.

The thread startred by basically saying that RSV's are becomeing as popular as the GIXXERS. Near as I can tell, that's quite true.

But the thread has been takin by some to mean, that they are better, how can that be? THEY ARE IN DIFFERENT FUCKIN CLASSES!!!!

You cannot compare the two, because they are built for a different reason. Near as I can tell, the GSXR is pure race bred, crap paint, thin flimsy plastic, no frills, and the most punishable motor. With a scary as all fuck, you better know what you're doin or I''ll spit you off, ride.
The RSV is well finished, smooth, easy to ride fast, and damn sexy.

Poles apart, so everyone on here, (even though you might not agree with the reasons I've givin, the bikes are worlds apart), you are not arguing, instead you are just talkin shit, to hear your own opinion.
