    NZ Production Superbike championship

With all the awesome racing going on around the world right now, we seem to have forgotten that we're nearing the end of one of the closest NZ Superbike championships for ages.
Who do you reckon will take it this weekend?

Ya got Mr Consistantly at the front Andrew Stroud on 158 points I think. Then you've got a super quick aussy bloke in Robbie Bugden on 152 and Craig Sheriffs with a mathematical shot at the title on 126.

    Who's your money on?

Im a big Stroud fan, the man is a legend

I was in a servo in Turangi a few months back waiting at the counter to pay for my gas.... got a tap on the shoulder.... it was Stroudy! "Hello Allan" he said. That made my week Pretty cool considering ive only met him a couple of times

So would I mate. But I honestly don't think he can do it. And in the 600s, Sam Smith is really killing them all.

i think this thread is about production bike racing (ie 1000 and 600) sorry ivan.

Sam Smith is a given. Going by the racing i saw last year Stroud will take it out, never know though, might have to make an effort to get down there for a watch.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

After this morning's fun I'd like to see Jay, and Sam battle it out for the 600s on the day, and stroud up there with them. The K7 1000 Andrew was on today sounds horn

Yeah I've forgotten about it. Without buying trade publications I wouldn't even know there was motorcycle racing in NZ.

We get more info about MotoGP in the NZ press.

its a shame Sherriffs wrote off his new 600 a week after paeroa ( he only picked it up from ray c, the night before paeroa) so im guessing he's on the old bike, i agree with most , sam will take it out though , and as much as i would like to see sherriffs take the thou,, i believe it will be stroud,

My wife wants one of those "bronzed and spunky" aussies to win super sport. She's got no taste in men or motorcyclists. I'd love to see Craig win too but it doesn't look like his year. Sam is looking good. That Jay fullah is riding good too. He might be fast one day Andrew Stroud has to be the man in Superbikes.
I can't believe how good the racing has been. So competitive with the aussies here and it's been a brilliant move to get them over.
