    My first 1000km

    Well I clocked my first 1000kms today - stoked. Only had to apply the old progressive braking once when a truck pulled out in front of me Keen to go for a ride tomorrow arvo (weather permitting) up north/west auckland if anyones keen...

    Aghhhhh, and about 6 sets of tyres too I suppose!?! I've only done 13000, and on the same set of tyres (although I do feel the back slip occasionally, so I guess some new tyres are on the list for the next service) and I got mine the same time as you, how

    Oh behave! I'm peachy keen as usual, rain, wind or shine!

    And before I get distracted, congrats on your 1st 1000kms! I bet you had a ball doing it and learnt a heap in the process, so set some goals, check your ride, check your gear and find some more places to ride down those lanes to freedom! (oh wait, I'm paraphrasing myself again! )

    Why dont we meet at the quay st mobil at 10am tomorrow? If the weathers crapola we can still potter round and head out to whitford or something?
