    Teknic leathers.

There's a good special on Teknic leathers at the moment... I got mine for $800 with a $250 helmet free (Xspeed lite or something, OK as a back up) from TSS last week... Nice soft leather and seem to fit OK (heh heh, they hold the beer gut in anyway). I'll feel like knob riding in them (only the blue power ranger suit left in my size) but at least I'll be safe eh ?

Doesn't matter what you look like when you're riding a ZZR1100 (= respect)

Btw, what colour is your bike?

The bike is kind of blue and green, I always wanted a black one, doesn't look too bad though and the price was right. I'm picking a another bike on Friday, BRIGHT RED, should go well with the leathers :/ heh heh...

Yes :/ it is a kind of whaley blue, I'm thinking of fitting fins ... I was sick as a dog yesterday, but stupidly decided to come in to work today... nearly 3 hours to get in from Kapiti ! why didn't I just curl up in front of the woodburner eh ? Ah well... I'm off to AKL tomorrow afternoon, riding my new bike back Friday , I hope this crappy weather goes away. Where are you today ?, I don't see the TZR outside this morning, ya big baby, it's only 180kph winds, hardly even a breeze.

Now there's a REAL man. You show em Sedge. Even with the largest sail (ooops fairing) known to man on your bike, you still braved the wind.

Pity the wind wasn't behind you, the fuel economy would have been amazing...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Heh heh... I didn't say I rode in , I'm not a total moron... (I just read your post in the Wgtn weather thread )... the ZZR does NOT handle crosswinds, honestly, I'd be dead if I rode it in today.

When you wrote 'largest sail known to man' I thought you were talking about me... hah... seriously though, the ZZR kicks the wheels out from under you in a side wind and changes lanes all by itself, need to get some reinforced undies for that kind of thing.

I'm getting an old GSXR750 on Friday for a fun bike, can't wait, riding it down from AKL should be a laugh if the weather clears up, otherwise I guess it'll be carp.
