    I didn't get a chance to thank Kerry or DD last night, thanks guys for a very informative night.
    *wanders off to clean the chain lube off the swing arm so as not to look like someone that doesn't know how to lube a chain properly *

    I've thought of another question (I'll probably forget by next session), how to repair a punture on the side of the road. No need for anyone to answer on here, come along to motohaus (sp?) and see if you're right.
    We childproofed our homes, but they are still getting in.

    Suggestions are welcome for next wednesday.

    As it's getting dark so early now, the carpark in westgate is generally too dark. I will be going to scout out a new practice area that is nearby and lit for us.

    What would you all like to focus on during the winter?

    My thoughts and suggestions:

    * Night riding
    * Wet riding - braking and cornering in the wet
    * Bike maintenence nights

    I appreciate your suggestions folks.

    How about learning the importance of not drinking and riding?....ie...lets all get shitfaced and then get a taxi home...

    Nah but seriously, we do need to find a new practice area, a large lit carpark is obviously ideal, and it doesnt necessarily have to be out west, so if any of us are out in the evenings doing whatever, and see a potential venue, let us know

    Just a thought here folks--
    Im thinking of having a bit of a show n tell evening.
    looking round my gargre Ive got a carb and oil pump in bits. Electrics all unplugged.A cylinder head and all sorts of other stuff rattling around
    Might be good for newbees to actually see what this stuff looks like in real life

    Frosty, i would certainly be interested in that.
    I have no idea what my bike's guts look like really, curious esp. for carbs.
    Sounds like a good idea!

    I have a problem where I strip down an engine to replace things, and then end up with left over parts not lots, but just the odd bolt and nut here and there

    I'd be keen on seeing the carb

    I'd love to give mine a clean but don't want to blunder on in there

    Venue

    Possible venue:

    Westcity car park, Lit and covered..

    Odd car comes through too go to The Warehouse but HUGE CAR PARK AND WELL LIT!

    NO RAIN THROUGH THREE LEVELS OF CONCRETE!

    Off the motorway straight down Lincoln Road into middle of Henderson, turn right at Railside, 500mtrs down on left, opposite train station.

    Just watch the stupid patch of concrete that they have put in and the ridiculous bump on the train station side!

    Fantabulous, well done that man! I will go and check it out today and have a little chat to the security guards.

    There is a small undercover carpark at the back of the Bendon shop in westgate, but not sure if it's lit or even open after hours.

    Does it have heaps of concrete pillars? would be great for slalom practice
