    WANTED: 400cc race bike

im after a 400cc race bike prefurably zxr or nc30 but any 400 considered and possibly a nsr250. Fully race ready bikes or "half way there" projects anything along these lines considered. serious buyer with cash and a decent budget wanting to start racing. cheers dave

You could ring Just Fairings in Hamilton and get a price for race fairings for your bike. With that, and a set of rearset pegs and some sticky rubber, you've got yourself a racebike

You shouldn't have any trouble getting a good old 400 or 250 as most people want to sell them so they can get a 650 twin.

Wonder if Shaun still has Bretts old bike? Just turn up to a race meet like the next Pacific round and ask someone with a bike you like if its for sale. Then if its a 400 and you want to be competive look at spending some serious money on making it a hot 450.

Rearsets will increase the cornering clearance. Without them you may get annoyed with the pegs spending too much time on the ground
