Looking forward to this day guys, a good cause to be a part of. Until Saturday then![]()
Getting to the ride is part of the fun ... I know with Chanceyy and GSX coming from up north and a couple from Paraparamu ... was thinking ..
If you guys come over the Paecock hill Grub and I can meet you at Challenge in Pauatahanui at around 9.30 am then we can go into Wellington Via the Haywards ... and be in time for the meet up at Frank Kitts ... hows that sound???
See you there (unless the weather is really awful).![]()
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.
So assuming some of us Kapiti people will be there, not sure about myself but maybe Sels or Simon?
Meet at Mobil at 830 or so head off 840-845???
How does that sound chanceyy/kapiti people/any1 else?
This my neighbor, Nursultan Tuleiakbay. He is pain in my assholes. I get a window from a glass, he must get a window from a glass. I get a step, he must get a step. I get a clock-radio, he cannot afford. Great success!
ok just chatted to 86 ... leaving shannon by 8am .. kapiti mobil (smoke break) bout 8.35am .. leave 8.45am .. over the hill (my first time) eeekkkk
meet grub & nasty at the challenge garage bout 9.30am .. & over haywards to wellywood ..
so far thats the kinda plan .. other than that just winging it![]()
Have toKarma ... Justice catches up eventually !!
I hope your ride goes well.
I wish I could be there and riding with you on the Guzzi.

When I was 20, many years ago (well actually 1990), I was on the back on my mates RZ350 sitting at the lights. An HQ took the corner ahead of us, overcooked it and went down the side of our bike. My friend got his leg in intime but of course when you're on the back your knees are out further. The car bumper crashed into my shin and hurled me off the back. To add insult to injury, the rear tyre of the HQ whacked my helmet.
I was rushed to hospital and was in there for a while. I had to have my leg all bolted together with a rod and screws. It was a tricky operation, and at one point, an amputation was considered. Anyway, they took some bone out of my right hip (I have a scar and a hollow bit there now) and put it into my shin to save my leg.
I was on crutches for about 12 months. My right leg is now an inch or 2 shorter than my left.
So, I have a wee issue about pillioning now![]()
