Shit! Four days too soon! So not fair!
We arrive back on the 18th of April and will no doubt be jet lagged as buggery... so I guess I'll just have to wait until the next one. Still, hopefully in the meantime I'll manage to make it onto the track on my own bike to have a bit of a go... though I think I'd better get a new rear tyre and front brake pad before doing that! Good thing I'm bringing a few £'s back with me!

I shouldn't be so quick to leap onto a sidecar anyway... bit of a thrillseeker lately (went on the big rollercoaster at Blackpool over the weekend... what a rush!). Not like me to be a thrillseeker... scared shitless but doing it anyway whereas in the past I was scared shitless and no way am I doing that! I mean, if WT nearly managed to soil himself, and from what I've heard he's not adverse to thrills... I should be taking it seriously.

I wonder if my weight could be a problem though? WT said he weighs 65kg and someone else said 55kg. I weigh over 80, would that be a problem?
Soapbox house of cards and glass, so don't go tossing your stones around.
You musta been.... high. You musta been...

Not at all... Pete Macefield is quite tall and is heavier than 80kg's and he is a great swinger...

Actually Kick, I've been wondering why sidecar lap times haven't come down at all in recent years, considering that all the chairs now have heaps gruntier engines than years ago. Then it hit me....... You swingers have all gained 30-80 kgs also!!!!

(Also, all the 'older' riders have put on the beef too....)

Here's anyone's chance, if you're keen, to try it out. I had a go last year after my first ever race meeting and loved it! Highly recommend it! This is an absolute MUST for all adrenalin junkies....

If you were a little more observant you would notice that our outfit never gets off the line fast, probably due to my rotund stature. However this does not impeed on our ability to kick your skinny ass from time to time
