I'm taking media studies at school, and my media teacher is into a bit of art. He likes the Freudian symbols and surrealism side of things, eg Salvador Dali.
He has a particular picture that I like but I can't remember it's name at the moment. I'm sure it by Dali, but it has 5 or 6 people in the foreground, and 5 or 6 ships in the background. It's supposed to represent life and death, the closest person is old, and farthest ship is big and old too. It has a lot of other meanings too, like relationships between the people etc.
I'm just wanting to know, what is this picture called and/or who is the artist? Maybe those who are into this sort of thing could post up their favourite pictures or something.
I'll post my favourite Dali pics anyway.
