    What is NZ's song.

I have a corporate powerpoint to put together. Closed room, small audience copyright etc not a consideration.

The brief calls for an opening video featuring images of NZ landscapes and an uplifting Iconic soundtrack.

Images are no prob, the sound has me flummoxed.

'Loyal' - but it's not about NZ. 'Nature' - but it's a bit stupid.

If this was back home it would be a doddle. 'Great Southern Land' or 'Sounds of then' or 'Downunder' - but is there a Kiwi equivalent?

    A groovy song about NZ.

At the mo it's Tim Finns 'Couldn't be done' because the message is better.

Suggestions? and I'll go to itunes and buy it.

Bliss or Whaling, but I think Dave Dobbyn's Welcome Home is a pretty good kiwi anthem. JMO

Great minds think alike, whenever I think of NZ's national anthem (not the boring one you sung at school!), Bliss immediately comes to mind!

Or, what about something by the Warratahs? They do some pretty great tracks, not that I can think of any particular ones right now. BTW, did anyone catch them at the Winemaker's Daughter in Te Horo yesterday? We wouldn't have minded going but only found out about it late in the day and decided to give it a miss.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

What's the age of the Audience (i.e. what genre will they relate to)?

Netherworld Dancing Toys and Annie Crummer (For Today - I'll remember your smile)
Herbs - Sinsitive to a smile - probably slow and/off topic for you.
    The Dudes - Bliss
Gotta be something by Crowded House, Split Enz or the Finn brothers.

God Save the Queen or that other dumb religious national anthem in a secular country?

How about "There is no depression in NZ"?

Managers. Middle - older age group. Anything up to grunge is OK.

Considered all suggestions so far - none of them are about NZ? or have a positive message - except for the Maori one - which would put them to sleep - exactly the opposite to what is required.

Others already scratched off the list are Dominion Rd and Young Years.
