    Attn# Zxr & workshop owners.

There has been alot of talk but nothing happening in reguards to a bike maintainance day/night for ZXR owners. I thought i would see how many people are keen. I need to know how many of you are keen and what you want to know. I was thinking along the lines of Chain tension, disc pad replacement, spark plug replacement, oil and oil filter change, fuel line replacement etc. Just want to know what the feeling is out there.

Also i will be approaching people i know, but if anyone wants to donate an area to do this and/or possible instuction....The more people instructing the better. I may have a bike shop keen but i thought i would open it up to KB personal first. If we were to learn something that we need replacemant parts for eg spark plugs, we would buy them from the workshop or instruction provider assumming a buisness gets involved. That way everyone wins and it seems fair.

If nothing comes from this at least i will know im barking up the wrong tree, just thought someone should take it a step further than just talk at bike meets etc.

I'm keen as a motherfucker! but no longer living in Auckland!

Just had all my disks replaced, with new pads
    Forkseals done
    squeek from alternator belt tightened
    New rear tire for WOF.
    Got $20 back from $2K

Last 2 years have also replaced clutch fibers and plates, rebuilt front break calipers, new timing chain. would love to have been able to do this with some help but had to send it off to a shop for the timing chain and the second lot of forkseals. the only reason the shop got to do the disk replacement as I was caught off and didnt have the time to do it.

Bike back and running good stopping alot better toooooo

Hope you guys pull together up there for this to happen as I know there are a few of you who have the skills to do these jobs, being able to do this myself makes my riding way more fun

    GOOD LUCK

Sounds like an excellent idea. I've been thinking about putting my ride in for a service but if theres things I can do first (and cheaper) then let me know when & where.
