Yeah been following the action on mcnews. Sounds like he's going good. Obviously you know him, have you heard anything from him? Any news straight from the horses mouth would be nice to hear. Pity he missed out on the thursday practice day, would have disadvantaged him a bit.
Sam just finished 8th in the first supersport race for sunday. Getting better as the weekend goes on. Good luck for last race of the weekend later today.
Got 9th in the last race.I havent spoken to him yet but yup sweetas, I`ll pass on anything I hear.I`m not sure how many of the front runners are factory riders ... sure sounds intense.Awesome experience aye!!!![]()
Sam got eigth in the last race and was the second Non Factory bike home behind Chris Seaton
Good write up on the Yamaha site covering Sam at Winton.Sam has a test day at Mallala tomorrow.
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "
