Ahh the good ol'days of gaming addiction, yes, I was a gamer addict. When Quake came out, I played it for 25 hours straight ... before that, I was doing the classic "Civilisation - just one more turn...oh, just one more epoch... oh, let me build that wonder first...", this morphed into the console marathons - finishing FF series in less than one week, hooning through FPS in one day and returning it back to the store saying "s'was boring, gimme money back...lemme spend it on anudder FPS". Cackling in the non-stop mayhem of Unreal ... and somehow managing to break the cycle ... I didn't do the Starcraft/WoW/BF/HALO/etc. al

Don't get me wrong, I love 'em games - when I ain't playing them, I'm painting them and wargaming them! It's just the sheer beauty of polygon generated carnage I enjoy. The spectacle of a stupendous kill fills me with a childish glee ...

Good thing I ride my bike(s) now so it gets me out of the killzone ... and into a real life one? What next ... a bike that is ridden by using a mouse on the tank pad? A console gaming pad on the handle bars for rider functions? (Say...that's got me thinking...)

End of raving and ranting, got the need to fire up the PS2 and play Rogue Trooper ... Die Norts! Go Gunnar! Dispense items Bagman! Helm, heads up! Woo hoo hoo!
