Those Bratz and other types of dolls should be banned.

My 6 yearold has barbies... shes cut their hair and put nail polish all over them, ruined them basicaly. Bratz are too grown up for little girls... I think.

My two year old little girl, loves trucks, motorbikes and lego. Brought her a truck for her birthday... which she loves. Playdo is great as well, and all my kids are into art, so they have a huge stash of pens and felt tips.

Give them the one they want, without spoiling them. Something is better to play with than nothing. Having nothing sux until you figure out that thing in your head comes up with all sorts of good ideas whether you got a toy or not...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Buy dolls? you are kidding right, maybe not. lol
Fluffy animals are best, dolls are expensive and mess with the mind.
Any other kind of toy that allows the imagination to run wild is good.

    i voted teddys as well.
when i was a kid, i had barbie, but i very rarely went near her. loved my teddys and cabbage patch kids. lol. anyone remember the quints dolls from the mid 90s? like a smaller version of barbie...i loved those as well. great fun. i think barbie was too fiddly, and too many things to lose [rings, earrings, shoes, outfits getting muddled up.]

mum and i have a shared collection of teddys, heading close to the 1500 mark. we used to collect cabbage patch kids [around 300 before we lost interest]

those brats dolls are hideous fuckin things. saw a rake thin 9 year old wearing a shirt that read "dont feed the models" if i were that girls mother, no way would she be allowed to even look at a shirt like that, let alone wear it! no wonder theres so many kids who grow up with no self esteem!

They have been banned from selling/buying them....
You can still buy them in most craft shops, little old ladies still make them. And I'm pretty sure I saw them on sale in a retail toy shop recently too. I hated them as a kid and must confess they look a bit too scary for young kids even today!

I had a Tuppence doll - cheaper than Barbie (oh, in SO many ways...) and not as well-endowed!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
