    Yacht prang.

Next time you drop your bike it may be worth reflecting that at least it wasn't a yacht.

BTW that yellow stuff in the sails is Kevlar. All Kevlar. Gives you some idea how expensive these things are, eh?

    Where's those from Dave?

P.S. Where's your homework young man? You've had a week to appraise those new skins and I expect a report...

Place called Sable Island, apparently. It turns out that if you leave from Canada to go to France you do need charts for the bit in the middle. Who'dve thunk it?

Ah yeah. Well, they're heavier than I'm used to, but that makes for a nice smooth outside and the burn is nice and even ... oh ... you mean the leathers? Good. They need wearing in more. They made the house smell of dead cow for a few days and when they stopped reeking quite so much I started wearing the jacket in to work. It's a bit stiff round the neck and the chest needs to get a bit softer but ... like I said, they need to wear in a bit. The fit is top though - really glad I went and made myself obnoxious stuffing loads of different gear on till I found some that fitted. Oh, and the ventilation flaps on the jacket are wonderful.

The gear feels a lot safer than cordura too. The armour, in particular, appears to be fairly well wedged onto the bits where it should be.

That has to be every skipper/yacht owners worst nightmare.
Having built three yachts myself (ranging from 24 to 36 feet) you get very attatched to your boat. I feel for him/her....

Yes - no bastard is going to "salvage" that at least. Too lazy for digging

Himatangi Beach is like that... leave a car on the beach and next day it's buried.

I'm not telling how I know this.

At least he had the nounce to drop his anchor, He knows exactly where it is now and he's done a good job of stopping it going out to sea.

    Painful huh.

Thats because it is, but don't worry we will kill it in the end.

I feel sorry for the skipper/owner of that boat, probably never see it float again.
