Couldnt make the ride, as I have lots of study to do today...

Good to meet some new faces though!

Question - Buffy, where was your gear???? trainers and jeans and not even jacket? Yet pyro was all kitted out?? NOT GOOD... Your lucky frosty was not there.. he would have eaten you up pyro! ...so if you crash.. pryo will be ok.. but buffy... welll... I hope you dont! ...not very responsible.... dunno about anyone else, but if im short of gear... the pillion gets first dibs.. then me.

Buffy - PM me if you need to borrow a jacket for the odd ride etc... hate to think your out there with no protection!

Where'd everyone go? One minute I'm tootling along happy as Larry (who's this Larry anyway??), the next I'm thoroughly lost and alone and lost (did I mention alone?). I guess that's what happens when you bring a knife to a gun fight. Wasn't that slow I didn't think, just pegged the speedo to 100 - I'm tired of shelving out dosh to Helen. So much for all the 250's showing up, only 2 of us.

So I went right at end of Peak road ... no other bikes to be found. Then turned around and went left of Peak road ... no bikes either. Then the weather closed in so I thought screw it ... I'm headed home. Hope you all had a good ride - not too wet cause I'm soaked.

Hey dude, we assumed you had turned off with the other guy, had I known you were still coming I would have waited for you. After years of riding a 4hundy miles behind the big boys I know what it feels like to be left behind. Sorry mate, hope it doesn't happen again. :slap: If it's any consolation we all got wet on the way home too (And i'm still miles behind)

    Hey Buffy,
Death (my partner) and I have some old gear we're practically giving away if your interested. I can't stand to see anyone out there unprotected after having a major crash riding in jeans, NOT PRETTY! I have a mens/unisex leather jacket, rather well loved, going for $50 ono. I'm a size 8-10 but the jacket is way too big for me. A pair of ladies boots, also well loved but plenty of protection left in them, i'd take a donation for those, ladies size 8. My partner has a pair of men's Quasi boots, he's only worn them twice but crashed in them at Taupo, mens size 44 (9 1/2) and he'd also take a donation for them.
Please get your beautiful body covered hun, it's the only 1 you've got.
    Cheers, Draco

Great to see Mr & Mrs Maha again. Good to meet some new kbers also. Thanx for letting me tag along the back guys. It was great to be on a kb ride where everyone behaved themselves, made for a pleasurable day riding. (That is if you don't count the gale force winds and the wee sprinkle on the way home)
    Cheers guys

Nah, no worries -- too bad about the rain, and Coppas too, maybe it was destiny

Gale force???...the ole' Spinnaker would have come in handy a couple of times today. That straight bit at the end of that 'Cut through' road out of Wellsford, we were doing around 130-140 and a gust wacked us from the right, not a good feeling and the engine brake was fully applied, i felt Anne grab on tight for a few sec's........mind out of the gutter GB!!

Thanks to Grahameeboy for the ride! And everyone else who turned up. It has been months since I rode down that way, enjoyed those twisties

Black Bandit, when I was on the 250 I have always appreciated those who wait up at every junction and it is not by intention that we did not this afternoon, sorry . Look forward to ride with you again in the near future!

Yeah guess my fault. Stopped at Peak Road saw Pyro and thought everyone was with us and then assumed BB went off with Pyro.

    Sorry BB......

Thanks for all those who turned up. Draco hope you got to know your bike a bit more and I agree that small numbers are better cause if you muck about you cannot hide eh............where is JSG?

Smorf.........glad you made it for gas, just.....I still had 22 k's left.....well according to my calculator.

Maha, always good to see you 2 and glad you got some wind assistance on way home and you managed to break the 3 figure barrier.........Salt Lake Flats next eh?
