It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

Damn wind. Would have trouble standing up, much less riding. Flagged for me today. Ride safe, any brave souls that venture out.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Thanks again folks.......we had a ball.....again. The Duchess was grinning today when she got home. The wind was working in our favour with a gusty tail wind all the way to Wairoa and during our picnic on the riverbank it was fairly breezy, and then as soon as we started our trip back the wind dropped away and it was a really pleasant run all the way home. Heaps of traffic on the way back...but everyone was very well behaved. The ride today capped off a nice long weekend for both of us....Hope the 'Hitchers' had a good trip home...was so nice to see you both again and have the opportunity to come play in our backyard.....role on next Sunday (Taupo Track Day)
    Cheers everyone, W & D

I think they're called 'Handbrake Bruises' each dig in da ribs equals a 10k drop in terminal velocity.....(or at least it's supposed to....eh Moo) dont ask me how I know this

No bruising. I have found the best solution to the problem. Go faster so they can't let go. I ask Mooo why she didn't poke me and she recons she was too busy holding on. So there is the answer. It was a great ride and we had a ball. Anyway it wasn't that fast. I recon we might put hand rails on the fuel tank like they do for the track two up rides..That would do it aye Moooo? Thanks to Rob for letting me play in the front from time to time. I recon he likes the sound of the old Gixxer and just likes to be next to the hole. Thanks W&D and you are so on to it D. Impressive girl. Nice to have Yon (Swede) sp out on the road again. More often please Yon.

Have a great week people and we will see you at the track day on Sunday as W said up there ^^^^^^^^^. Speights_Bud will have my Gixxer in it's red clothes and I will have the van for recovery. We have a 20 litre of drinking water thanks to W&D so if you want stuff, lunch baskets clothes what ever taken up let me know and you can stick them in the van.

    Cheers People
Work tomorrow. Bugger got to like this life style.

Hope the tyre has enough tread for Speight_buds track day.

Mrs H and I had "fun" in a gutsy HB westerly zephyr on Sunday. The last half of SH50 and the run along the top of the ridgeline north of Norsewood would have to have been some of the strongest wind we've ever ridden in. All I can say is thank god I wasn't riding an ST1300.

Just spent 30min talking to the owner of that bike shop in Taradale. Gee thats more time than all the rest of them put together in the last 10years or so.
I asked about a rumour floating around that i heard. He said he heard it too and laughed. Not going to happen he said. But he would like more support.
I reckon i like that bike shop.

At least he didnt come up to me when i was admiring the SuperDuke and asked if i was dreaming, unlike another shop that i went too.

Can you take a BBQ so the HB team can have bangers and patties and a bit of salad. We could get sticky to look after it.

How much tread on the gixxer? How much tread do you need?

Bikers nirvana. My first port of call. Always. Even if he does sell Hyobags too.
