I realise it's gunna be on a Tuesday...but what the heck, it's close enough to xmas so might as well make it our Christmas get together as well...what you all reckon....Cheers W
Hey, we could invite Freddie...cause all us HBers love our wee Freddie
Any of the southern mob want to overnight here on tuesday nite...we will find beds, no worries
Too big a day for the (nearly) Wimpy Club members....but liking the idea if it can be 'shortened'
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I gotta work the day before and the day after...its a dreadful time of year for schools anyway, so the stress levels and work levels are high....
I'll pass on the brekky and the extra kays but join you for a protest, lunch, a ride and a BBQ tea...

Hmm sounds like you're going to have to leave it in first gear for a wee while aye George? Demerits are a bit of a bugger though, still waiting for mine to tick over the two years, got them back when i was young and immature

Although you could always park the R6 in my shed so you're not tempted to be naughty and go fast on it....

A whine or two? That's the 'other' thread...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.

I've personally found that in such situations I have to overcome a natural urge to ride on past without heavy braking, whistling innocently into my helmet as though nothing's happened.

Unfortunately, that instinct can stop one from braking sufficiently to avoid a ticket. If you stand the bike on its nose the moment you glimpse the cop, you should be able to slow down fast enough so that they can't lock on to a ticket-worthy speed. Remember, if they can see you, you can see them. Keep those Mk I eyeballs peeled, and use those brakes for all they're worth!

(If you're travelling above the ton, though, I'd say that slowing down sufficiently probably wouldn't be doable, so... just have somewhere to run to eh?)

    Eternal vigilance!

Instant reaction hit breaks hard comeing down the hill. just as well i did cos i would not be riding for a month or so never mind got to take it on the chin and be thankfull I never got snapped the other day.

Hahaha, Pat's an emo. Cheer up, save your pennis and buy yourself a big bike.
I can now officially get my full licence. Getting off my arse and going into town to book it is another question though.
