This weekend or next? What I bring?
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them
Hey Col,
It's not a weekend, sadly it's a Tuesday... It's the Taupo protest ride: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=59471

Media Studies on Thursday.
English on Friday.
Media: 2 essays. 1st = 2 codes and conventions of the genre we studied. Our genre is TV comedy, and the codes and conventions are satire and surrealism. You need to give a description of them both, then an example and explain what they do. To get me an excellence, you have to take it out of context and relate it to society in general.
And the 2nd is a development within that genre, and the issues surrounding it. Ours was alternative comedy in the UK in the 1970's and '80's. You have to explain how it came about (Thatcher's government wasn't doing anything for the working class and people were striking etc. To show their anger, they made comedy making fun of society, in an attempt to change.) and then relate it to the present day comedy movement in the USA (Southpark, The Daily Show etc).
Simple mate.
And for English, don't worry about Macbeth, I pulled out of that. You just got to do poetry (Robert Frost - "Out, Out", "The Road Not Taken" and/or "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening") and have to pick two of these.
And the second is a film essay. Our studied film was Little Miss Sunshine. The character question is the easiest, and Dwayne is the easiest. Good luck mate.
