On a sour note....just seen a guy drop his bike.
He came out of Hastings Honda, gave it gas and spun it right round and over she went, he did a rolly into the gutter.
Dunno whether he just had a new rear tyre fitted as a few have done that there afterwards.
A yellow VFR800 and the guy was mid 50s?
I was walking towards him when he did it, was like slow motion.
Few bits lying on the road.
    I'm glad it wasn't a red one

A huge thanks to Steve, Mary moo and Jan for helping last night, I really appreciate it and you guys rock. Hope Itchy isn't causing you too many problems. He really is an awesome cat. Picked up my bike without a hitch and the vibrating foot peg is only prominent on the left hand side more than the right. Now it is taking great pride in my Aunties backyard hehehehehe, just have to keep an eye on my Uncle now.

We hid that thing in between the yamaha's so that no one would notice it.
Even the Harley guy and his chick was looking at the the Yamaha
Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

    Great day for a ride.

Went for a ride with the local Triumph RAT group, but none turned up except for the main guy who runs it. They meet at Breakers at 9.30 on certain Sundays and leave at 10ish, so time for a coffee or brekky there etc.
The rides are open to all makes, not just Trumpies.

Anyway, we headed to Wairoa. Heaps of loose metal on the road after the Waikare pub. Saw no bacon.
Stopped at the cafe just out of Wairoa.
On the way back ran into about 8 or so bikers, including some from the Triumph group at Waikare. Dunno why they missed us at Breakers.
Rode back, went thru Seafield road to the Puketapu for a brew, then home.
Good ride, and I did'nt feel like I needed a chiropractor to get off, like on the Duc!

Heaps and heaps of bikes on the road.
I'm pretty sure I saw Alice who used to ride with us, on a controlled red light at roadworks before Wairoa. She was on her VTR and with a guy on a black Aprilia. Her bloke had one of them eh, thats what made me click on it being her.

Funny that, Dooly. I had a text from her on Friday, wondering when we were going to start up our Wednesday rides again.
I guess I should get my arse in to gear and get them up and running again....just seem to be very busy lately and haven't got around to it!
