Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Went up there today for a ride, about 5K of dusty gravel as you said, its a short ride but very intersting, lots of cow shit over the road and on some corners, cocky's have been road grazing, but I did enjoy it.

Storm and I where over your way yesterday. I had a 6yo birthday party to gate crash. There is a nice bit of road in Ormanville/ Flemington area. Ended up going down a gravel no exit road for around 10kms. Bloody excellent vista from the top of looking back towards Wiapuk/Waipawa. Went to the end of it to the homestead then turned around(no choice really). Storm grave the Goose hell on the way back up gravel while I toodled on behind untill we hit the seal again then on to Waipawa, Elsthorpe, Havelock North. Very relaxed pace at about 100-110kph with the odd silly moment . I guess you could say Loosy Goosy and the Ugly Duckling went wild.

Rained a good 60% of the ride but got back to Ashurst ok. Then off to assist cowboyz consume a few Woodstocks.

That is fine. Although we all know now that there is a hint of truth to the story, over time it will fade to folklore and myth, just like the lockness monster and amobinable snowman.

I think that one will fall into the "I'm far too drunk to remember the beginning of the story let alone the end of it" basket.

the unfortunate part is the bit where the kwaka rider actually waved the honda rider past, but hopefully thats the bit that falls into the "I'm far too drunk to remember" basket
