Hawke's Bay weekend rides

We really should pull finger and sort out a ride. Has been a while..... Can we arrange a ride next Saturday? Wairoa for lunch or somethin?

Sounds like a great idea. W/e weather has been a bit off too, lately. After fine sunny days all week, then Saturday comes, with overcast and hints of rain to come (that doesn't)...Perhaps next Sat 9 Feb will be gorgeous, but not too hot. The tarmelt has been at it again on the Wairoa road.

The Triumph HB group I am with have a monthly ride which is next Sunday. They meet at Breakers Napier at 9.30 for a brew etc and leave 10ish. Think this time its a north ride, so prob Wairoa?
It is open to all makes of bikes and the guys are all good, and the pace is your own pace, but its not nana pace, as its modern Triumphs.
Maybe some of you want to come on that if Saturday is out?

Its a shame how we are all so busy, or too poor, for our rides together. We have turned up a few times and it has turned into a family ride, cos there has only been us. Had some great rides tho.

Not many of the H/D riders bother to wave in Hawkes Bay. We had a H/D rider for a while but he has seen the light and never rides the tractor now. Go the SV

He farms sheep & cattle. But there is corn on some of the flats near him (Tongoio)

was out at the bay rally , yesterday bloody awesome party , had a lot of blokes asking about the different badges and patches on my vest , yet no KB's come up ! anyone else wear their KB badge on their vest's ? any KB's go out to it

. What a ride. Went to Wairoa for a ride today. To scrub in the front tyre you understand. Been a long time since I have done a ride like that. I think I remember why we ride.

Not much left of the R1 rubber now Rob. Time to try the Pilot road2. I am a bit unsure about it as it feels like a hard compound. I will let you know how it works in a few weeks.
