Saturday evening was a new strategy for us. Usually when we actually plan to come to the Bay, events and/or the weather seem to actively transpire against us. This time we snuck up on it. We started by conning it into thinking we were just doing a usual fang around the Rapa, starting with brunch at the Fush. To complete our ruse this time we didn't even pack anything, stopping at the Wharehouse in Napier for clean underwear and toiletries on our arrival.

Up via SH50 to the Lime Hill turn-off, then across to Waipawa, to Patangata and into Napier via the Elsthorpe road. Home on Sunday via Napier, Vinegar Hill, the Manawatu Gorge, Mangamaire, etc. Absolutely terrible roads and weather. We don't know how you locals can stand to live there. I mean, really...

Yeah, well, somebody has to live at the arse end of nowhere and put up with the daily grind that is our lives in this long forgotten abyss. The gods picked us....somebody was lucky eh?

Oh by the way Rob....... The next time you pass me going up a hill please use all your power. I might be able to wing the power on and chase you rather than wait for you to get outa the way.........
I reckon the V Stacks that i put in the other day work a treat. And i will put the new front sprocket on after this weekend. That will slow take about 12kmph off the top end.
Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

Yep but it will get you up there sooner and in the end it will give the 1/4 a better over all speed.
You better get a seat belt for it now. I will hand the job over to the SV. Wasp can give you the learn from now on.

Fuck it I need a bigger bike

I just Goggled these. Interesting. 2-6 hp for changing basic hardware is a go. Are they bigger than the OEM ones or is it the shape and or length or what? Wouldn't you need to dino it again and remap if you getting more air in? you have a high flow filter in it at the moment? Hmm will read some more.

There's one sitting in a garage, just across from the airport, doing nothing...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.

They have once a month rides, next, March 9, a south ride.
I believe one of the CHB guys is putting together a ride around the area. I'll keep you all informed.

Forgot to say about Sunday, when I slowed and waved you thru..........was cos you got the bacon protection........makes sense you being at the front.
Nearly had a costly impound scenario over Xmas with Rob behind me instead of in front with his protection.
Got stuck behind cars right in the tight elbow area after you 3 made the break on Sunday so took it easy along Whirinaki way.

Loved the ride on Sunday Tony....thats da pace we like.....awesome piece of track at the moment, No roadworks and better still...NO livestock or Feral Poultry.....love to do that run everyday....if I was allowed that is

I've learned... that to ignore the facts does not change the facts

Do you seriously expect me to believe that these politicians would implement policy based on nothing more than bullshit......
