And you didn’t stop and help?

You should have given Pat a call Rob. He works close by and could have given you some help.
Hell I would even drop over in the Van and put the R1 in the back. I wouldn’t say a word mate.

If I can still be of help I can drop over in the van and bring it back to napier if you want. Cheers

And if you keep beliving the dribble that he writes on here you wont get any closer either. The R1 was sitting quietly in the shed staying warm while i went on my daily walk.

And i also thought you couldnt have passangers in the car while you are on a restricted license.
Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

Best you get that bike out on the track. No work on ANZAC day, so we should make a day of it at Taupo.

I've been talking with Fivestar recently,

Fivestar are willing to give us some good deals on items the team wishes to purchase from them, Which is a help, however they have pulled the plug on the main sponsorship offers they had made, and are no longer able to do anything for us that will cost them $$. after Two months of beating around the bush i've finally found out what they can/can't commit to to help DOOHAN racing out.

This means i've been unable to get onto the Suzuki Trackday as it was left too late, and i've committed the weekend to wellington.

The 'Fivestar' stickers will Remain on the Bike at present, But will be removed for any such persons/company who wish to 'purchase'/sponsor themselves onto the fairings. (Open to offers of course.... ..)

All in all an ok Turnout, DOOHAN racing will still receive Good prices from FiveStar and will still be running the RG throughout the VMCC Winter series

The deal has fallen through? That's a bugger Paddy, they could have let you know earlier.
I'm sure that you will be able to find another sponsor without too much trouble. Good luck!

Almost sounds that it has open you up to ride another brand if something came along.

I think it is fair to say Team “Doohan Racing” is happy to run the bike with the sponsors and supporters we have for the winter season. The aim is to get a race season done and see how it all goes. If we survive the winter season we can look at next year then. If we can move up a class I am sure we will. Then we might need more $$ help. We have Speights_Bud riding for us this winter but who knows what will happen after that.

He might get a better ride next year and we could end up with no rider. After your great result in Taupo you have proved your worth Patrick. We could pick up a young rider and do it again with the RG next year. Who knows. Might not have a bike after the season, or the first race for that matter.

One day at a time but we are secure for the winter season at this stage. So looking forward to the start of the competition. Great to have something to look forward to.

How is your team going BigG? You were going to help a Nephew? So looking forward to the days at the track.
