Anyone know the owner of a crashed blue 07 SV1000 in A1 salvage in Hastings?
Was a hit car situation, bent forks, looks like his eggs dented the tank....yikes!!!!
Just a stuffed front end and top fairing, not too bad really but sure to be a right off.
Might tender. Good track bike then.

Don't know of anyone who'd own it... However the Ding in the tank from his "eggs" might be a bit of a worry, this can often mean that the frame has been bent, as Meekey Mouse found out with her Hyosung.

Had a good look over it today. Hard to tell of course for sure, but all I could see was dent in tank, right where balls sit, bent forks, smashed radiator where forks etc went back, broken top fairing, scrape on engine case and RH muffler.
Looked like he hit a car (car was there too) stopped and fell on RH side so no sliding.
If done the naked way, would only need a headlight kit, and front end, plus the odd bit here and there.

Could be a good buy form someone like you say, good track day bike, i dont think it'd be competitive in any classes racing apart from Clubmans?

Choice, yea will take it to work tomorrow, Rode it from the Farm to town tonight already, passed 4 cars on the way between bayview and airport, had a good laugh while doing so

How many km's did you do before doing the change?

After a month or 1000kms. I had done 840kms and was bored yesterday.

Fair enough, i don't blame you, i got bored enough to get the old scooter project in my garage going that someone asked me to do for them a few months ago...

I wonder if i can get up to 1000km/'s within a month...

Does your main stand hit the ground cornering?

Yes it hits the ground.

You should hit 1000kms in a month. I only go to work for 4 days then have 4 days off. Mind you i find that i use to scoot around for the fun of it.
And i got something else in the shed now which i use for longer trips.

Hehe fair enough, i'd be tempted to take the "R' out for longer trips as well. im thinking i might take the main stand off, or just grind the crap out it. Depends if i want any of it left i guess??
