Rob and I went for a blast down HW50 and thru to Patangata on Saturday.
Bit of loose crap on the roads and a few small slips but not too bad.
Was about 5 bikes at the Patangata, but generally not much on the road.

Well after 6 weeks or so and untold bullshit LTSA waffle, I am officially able to check & issue motorcycle WOFs.
Like I used to be able to years ago before the major shakeup of WOF authorities.
They removed my issuing authority as I had'nt done enough for the year so they trimmed all bike ones off car garages, and just left us with the normal car/trailer/alt fuels authority.

Did my final written and practical test this morn.

So anyone who needs a WOF...........oh, and I don't have an issue with noise.
    Safety is more important IMO.

Have'nt decided what I'll charge, but KBers will be ok.

What does it cost you guys for your bike WOFs elsewhere.

Most other WOF issuers for bikes do it for free. Can you better that?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Excellent news, Dooly!
Will be nice to take a bike to someone who knows one end of it from the other!

Hmmmm…. I see a plan coming on here. We could all ride to Hastings for our warrants on the same day and sit around in Doolys office and drink tea and coffee and eat cream buns and donuts while he works on our bikes. Now that’s a plan. We could make it our mid winter/Xmas outing.

VTNZ charged me $32.00 on the 26th July 2008 for a warrant on the race bike. That’s inclusive of GST.

I get a stamp on the card that gives me $5.00 off my third warrant and $10 off my 6th visit. So that an average of $29.50 over a long period of time. If I can get over to you for a warrant mate you get the work. Simple and good on you for doing the paper work. I have just completed my license to handle Cyanide. What a drama considering I had one before that expired cos the law was changed.

Thats a long haul to come for a WOF Steve, but a ride's a ride.
Was thinking of 20 bucks for our lot and maybe 25 for the general public.

Main reason for doing it so that I can do my own ones and mates, but quite a few of our customers have bikes.
One came in today and wants to buy my Speedy as it was here for the inspection test to be done on.
    Not for sale I said!!!

Well, not until the new shape Speedy comes out...........
