I must have given my poor EL a hell of a work out. Just took it around to Noels to see if he can show me how to change the bulb in the headlight and the tail light, only to find out while riding there, that now I have no working speedo and there is a knocking noise at low speed .
The norm for bikes that doesn’t do long runs, often. All the “ Just holding on bits” give up and let go.

Mooo has given me the trackday for Christmas. I will give Mooo a ticket to come along and she can do food for me. Merry Christmas Moooo

    Mmmmmm Muffins!!!

I have to make sure that my poor bike will stand the test of riding to Welly at Christmas. I did mention to Dan that I would be riding down your way a fair bit...to get bike fit of course

It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

So shall I book for group3 considering I've never been on a track before, and I'm pretty sure I don't need to be in the bottom group.(well hope not)
What do they mean by 'medium speed?'
I don't know what bike I'll take yet either.

That would be good start. You will take a bit of time to get into the rythum on being on the track. You only need to go at a pace that you are comfortable with. Its not a race.

"Medium speed" Probably bike size and of course ability.

    Q. How many groups are there and how fast can I go?

    A. There is no speed limit on the track. You may go as fast or as slow as youlike. However choose a group to ride in that best suits your riding ability. We normally run 4 riding groups.

Group 1 is for expert/experienced riders who wish to ride at a fast pace and includes supermotards.

Group 2 is for experienced riders who wish to ride at a fast to medium speed and excludes supermotards.

Group 3 is for medium speed riding and group 4 is for novice/trackday first timers who wish to ride at a slower pace and not be intimidated by faster riders.

I have been considering this issue for you, and have decide that you should take both. I will leave the R1 at home.

Thanks to Dave, DeltaBravo for the ride today.

Was gonna Duc it but could'nt get on the bike without the block damn it!

Went along to the meet point, just me and Dave there.
Was only going to do a wee ride and test myself.
Ended up Clive, Tuki rd, then Kahuranaki, Patangata etc.

Great, felt good to be back in the saddle.
Nice pace, but did'nt spare the horses on way back.
Speedy was haulin, took no time to get into the groove.

Sore as fuck now, but magic pill has sorted that with the premix JD bottles adding to the flavour.

Man I love that Patangata rd area.
