cheers wasp, I've always been one to try and take the easiest route to making money but i think it wont get me far so i'm working from the bottom and hoping being a slave for some people can get me somewhere later on.

plus this will help me learn some good skills in the longrun, which will make my life with bikes that much more enjoyable as it will open up the mechanical side to me.

here's to one day being at the top of the motorcycling industry whether it petrol or electric.

    Thanks for the info Chicky.

Aye Outlaw torn, come along mate. It is not a race and we will only be traveling at da 100 k. We will pick a meeting place and re group regularly. We will make sure someone stops at each turn off to guide the rest of the ride to the same destination. That is we will nominate a lead rider and they will stay in the lead. We will nominate a tail end Charlie and they stay at the back. Then the second rider stays at the turn off till the last bike comes past. Then they pass the tail and so it goes. The same bike stays at the back for whole ride. This system works well and no one should get lost.

Sunday sounds good as well. Joys of not having anything to do... Went for a long ride last weekend (from napier to the Hokianga along the west coast roads and back again) and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the bikers that caught up with me lol. made the trip that much more enjoyable

    Looking forward to it already

Hey Steve, can you give us a rough idea of the route and how long in the saddle we may be.
Thinking of saying 'to hell with it' and giving it a go.

It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

I think there maybe a problem with some of the providers. Most of the Aucklanders that I went for a ride with on Sunday, belonged to Xtra and couldn't log in.

I've been locked out since Sat AM too. Can get in this morning, but multi-quoting posts is doing odd things....
Still, Sunday sounds like a buzz. Count us in. Will it be a cruise or more?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Never. Strictly 100 kph and maybe a nudge to 105 to overtake, but then sweating all the time that we don't get jailed if caught.

Just been talking to Dave @ Kiwibike insurance.

Quoted me about 900 bucks for full cover on all 3 bikes of mine, and trackday coverage @ 15% excess on what the bike is insured for.

He also said that MottoTT is the TD people that are the preferred users and will cover for that, but **** TDs wont be as 'they dont meet insurance criteria'.....in regards to organisation, safety, scrutineering etc, and MottoTT set the benchmark.
Suzuki/Yamm/Honda/Triumph days are all fine too.

Contacted Classic Cover as a courtesy where I am now and they will only cover rider training days, and no trackdays as they are, in their words........places where everyone goes hard out and races each other.......

So guess I'll be changing to Dave.

See the little speech marks/+ to the right of the 'quote' button? Use that for the posts you want to quote in a single reply and hit the 'quote' for the last post you want to add.
