Well I was, everyone had my mobile number should they need to contact anyone else. However, it didn't work for one instance has I wasn't given the details.

Mind you my mobile is constantly with me, my ma used to say they would one day have to surgically remove it.

The problem with the Kb friends system is that as I said some people are wanting to keep their details private. You may have friends all over New Zealand but only want a selective few knowing your contact details for some reason only known to yourself etc.

You also have the option of putting your contact details in there, or not.

Hence the problem of not being able to get hold of people and that's when the list works well. It's also good for ICE should anything happen on a ride too.

Hey John I personally do not have an issue with ppl gaining my details via kb using the freinds list .. some ppl do, however if there is a biker in need close by they are happy to be contacted

I did the phone list which has been lamanated, simply so it was easy to carry & have out on rides .. after all not everyone is close to a computer to get details ..

Oh certainly...portable is good. If a group gets separated, for instance.
Just make a point of adding mates' numbers to your mobile when possible and then periodically checking that they still have the same number/s. I guess we would all forget to update those in our profile....

I still have the list Chicky but it is well out of date. I was keen on being a contact point here for the goat track but I am out of reach of the phone most days. I did see an area where you list yourself as a contact but that was years ago. Went to register and it wouldn’t let me, so in true Steve Style just closed it and went for a ride.

Had a great ride to Taupo for breaky this morning. A few pigs on the road but the van was on the road taking pic’e Gave him the finger for hiding. Hate that. Read my plate if you can Mr van man.

The cell number thingy is really for the latest guys here as most of us have each others numbers anyway.

In reality, it aint a big issue in regards to whatever, just post up, store the numbers lets ride!!!
