Hawke's Bay weekend rides

Wont be coming along this weekend as im off to the KB gathering in Turangi. Meeting up with the Wellington/Masterston/ Palmy crowd at Ashurst and riding up from there.

Some photo's of us lot at Mike's place, very hospitable sort of fellow, photo of somebody getting set to go low flying down the long 5K straight. Seemed to be a very popular road to-day.

Another good ride out with the fambly.....missed ya big guy,you too Moo. Finally good a few drops of rain in the bay..... did'nt recognise it at first. Probably not gunna please the farmers much....looks like you might get more tomorrow though Steve...better late than never. Thanks Mike for the coffee, you've got a good spot there...real close to the race track

I hear the adoption papers finally came through Chris...you can call yourself a H.B-K.Ber now

No rain here yesterday W. Serious now. Feeding out hay. Doesn't look to bad from the road or house and yes we are a bit green but there is no length in the grass.
Missed the ride yesterday. Looks like fun. Was that a TL in the photo? I recon I know who's bike that is. Should have been a few more bikes with it going at the legal limit for a closed road.

We are in Hamilton today. Back tonight. No in the cage. Grrrrrrrrr So where are we riding to tomorrow you lot?

Yes, that was Dave...leading 5 or 6 bikes. No idea bout 2morrow...dont much care where?.....you pick. I think most of us would be keen...cheers W

It was a great ride yesterday. I am slowly settling in to the different riding style of the Ninja. It feels very planted on the road, compared to the EL and it is soooo nice to be able to just twist the throttle to pass those slow vehicles.
Felt real good!!

I have moved the EL to the furtherest corner in the gargre....don't think I'll be riding it again.
Will just borrow hXc's Spada to do my full...I reckon he owes me that much (at least!)

Chilly out there folks today.

Just got home from a rather spirited blast into town.
Had to go into work and get something so thru a pack on the shoulders and took the Duc for a blast.
Lucky I was rugged up well, temp quite a bit lower than yesterday so far.

Stopped for gas in town, there was a guy and his woman, late 40s? on a fairly new Soft tail. I pulled up next to him, went to say gidday and the cunt ignored me! He looked away when we were paying for the gas too.
Shit like that rolls off me usually, but I really felt like putting one on his chin.
Ignorant bastard.
Yeah we all know not all Harley riders are as decent as Warwick, and some sprotsbikers can be wankers too, but man, for some reason it pissed me off.

Consolation tho, everyone at the gas station wanted to talk to me about the Duc, not his bike!
Maybe that was it........

Thats probably my lot for riding this weekend.
If you're out this way for a ride, we're here for a pitstop if you want, Warwick's got my number.

Tossers like that are best ignored Dooly. As you say, maybe he was jealous of all the attention he wasn't getting - maybe, he wasn't getting anything else either!!!
As Warrick said to me yesterday, there's nothing as queer as folk....
